Greater Sydney Landcare (GSL) is a membership-based community organisation that aims to support individuals, groups or organisations who are working to protect, restore and improve the natural environment of Greater Sydney.

We work with and welcome new members to build a large network of likeminded people with a focus on natural resource management and sustainable agriculture.

Our region includes metropolitan Sydney, greater western Sydney, the Central Coast, Blue Mountains and south, to Wingecarribee.

The Robin Davies Wollondilly Community Nursery grows a variety of native plants, from grasses and groundcovers to shrubs, vines and shade trees endemic to the LGA.

The community nursery is not just a nursery though; it’s also a community resource centre where local environmental, conservation and community groups can hold meetings, training days and other events. Organisations such as WIRES, the Wollondilly Garden Club, Wollondilly Regenerators and Propagators and localLandcare groups meet and train there on a regular basis.

The Nursery is home to the Wollondilly Regenerators and Propagators (WRAP). WRAP is open to anyone to join and meets every Tuesday and Thursday at the Nursery for a productive day’s work and a chat.

All new Community Nursery Volunteers are fully trained in basic plant propagation, weed control, and seed collecting.
